The kick-off game is to
be played on the 11th of June 2010 at the Soccer City stadium in
Johannesburg and the finals will be played exactly a month later on the
11th of July 2010 at the same venue.
Dates,
times and venues have been set aside for every match for the respective
groups and host cities. The host cities are; Johannesburg, Cape
Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria, Nelspruit, Bloemfontein,
Rustenburg and Polokwane.

With nine
host cities carefully chosen for the world cup,
many preparations have gone into refurbishing the 5 existing
stadiums and also the rebuilding of 5 bigger and better
stadiums. The stadiums are expected to hold up to 70,000
spectators from all over the world.
The 5 existing
Stadiums that are being refurbished are:
